Shayla Williams

OWNER | HEad teacher | Piano, Guitar, Ukulele

Biography
Shayla Williams began her musical journey at the age of 3, with her father as her teacher. She grew up singing children’s songs her dad wrote, and waking up every Saturday morning to the sound of her Dad’s students playing piano. Shayla has always had a love for music, and at a young age realized that the passion for music was something she one day would want to pass onto others. Shayla has been singing in choirs since she was 8, playing piano since she was 3, and began teaching while in high school. She loves all styles of music, but classical music will always have a special place in her heart, especially anything by Bach or Mozart. Shayla believes that everyone deserves the chance to study music no matter what their age or skill level. Music has a way of bringing out the best in people, and is there for every event, be it cleaning the house or trying to relax and get to sleep.

Shayla teaches piano from beginner up to grade 10 RCM, as well as Canadian Conservatory and teaches group guitar and piano classes.

Jimmy Eboigbe

Senior Teacher | Drums

Biography

I moved from Toronto to Fort McMurray in 2024, and am originally from Nigeria. Developing a passion for music at a young age, I started playing instruments at 11 years old, while also joining the choir. For 10 years, I was a choir director. I now play multiple instruments, including drums, bass guitar, and piano. I am passionate about teaching people to play musical instruments so they can experience the joy of music, and encourage my students to explore, inquire about, and experiment with music. I believe in a well-balanced music education that includes both technical development and improvisation.

Junior Teacher | Guitar

Biography

Bree has always had an interest in music. She grew up with everyone around her playing instruments so she happened to pick one up. She is currently playing alto sax in her school’s concert band, electric guitar in her school’s jazz band, as well as any instrument that crosses her path.
